TPCA Show 2009

We proceed to take part in TPCA Show 2009 after JPCA Show 2009.
We introduced updated data beyond the exhibition data of JPCA Show 2009. (updating will be scheduled at a later date.) Also, UNION TOOL CO. took part in the NPI presentation again this year.
Mechanical Components & Materials Technology EXPO Exhibition for Reference
[Date held: 24th June to 26th June, 2009]
In the section for measuring instruments, the digital device for PCB drills' quality control, Linear Instruments that are assembled with UNION TOOL CO. made crossed roller guides, In-process Instruments mounted with processing machine, etc, were displayed and demonstrated, respectively.
This year, the long seller, non-contact diameter measuring instruments have been added with submicron model (0.1µm=1/10,000mm), proving that development of products is continued to meet that time where precise measuring is demanded.

In such situation, UNION TOOL CO. exhibited new developed drills and routers to meet those demands. Also, UNION TOOL CO. took part in the NPI presentation again, this year.

'Technical Award' from the Japan Society for Precision Engineering!

We received 'Technical Award' on "Ultra Micro Drills for Printed Circuit Board and Development of Ultra Micro Drilling Technology" by The Japan Society for Precision Engineering Hokuriku Shin'etsu Branch.
-The Background of this Award-
The rapid growth in light, compact and sophisticated multifunctional electronic equipment has also driven PCB hole density, resulting in the rapid growth of micro-mechanical drilling that is demanded by this type of HDI (High Density Interconnect) technology. In such condition,
we carried out the analysis of drilling behavior with high speed camera, etc., and developed the drills under ø0.1 and furthermore, allowed longer drilling tool life and excellent accuracy with the development of drilling technology. At the same time, by the development of our technology for excellent accuracy and mass production on ultra micro carbide tools, known as "Monozukuri Technologies", evaluation has been done for making a contribution to reduction and mass production of the ultra micro hole drilling on electronic circuit board by lengthening of tool life. UNION TOOL CO. will make such development of technology hereafter positively, and consider the contribution to industry continuously.
