Burring
Burring Evaluation Method
The irregularity around the drilled hole is called a Burr or Burring.
- If the evaluation using stack drilling has been done, the burr usually occurs on the entry side of the top panel and the exit side of the bottom panel - these are the panels evaluated.
- The burr is inspected by taking images of drilled hole from the top, or measured after cross-section to confirm the burr height.
