Welcome to UNION TOOL CO.
In this modern society where Information Technology is
highly advanced, information travels instantaneously around
the globe via Internet
and other computer networks. This technology will spread increasingly to
realize what is called "an advanced information-oriented society."
A sense of speed - it's the most important thing for us living in such
an age. We had achieved remarkable economic growth and technological innovation
within the 20th century, which originated in the Industrial Revolution
in England. However, the equivalent progress will be accomplished within
just
30 years in the 21st century. It might be even shorter than 30 years. I
believe that we will be obliged to complete our assignments in a week which
now take a month; then in only
2 days which are now permitted in a week. Otherwise we will be left behind.
I hope young people who wants to work with us shall have such a sense of
speed and I long for those people to manage UNION TOOL in the future.

About Union Tool
63% of the market in Japan and 37% of the global market for PCB drills.
Today, we're on the verge of a quantum leap into the age
of advanced information. High-tech data devices such as PCs and mobile
phones are the critical tools in the age of advanced information.
The heart of any data device is its printed circuit board, which is manufactured
using specialized carbide drills known as PCB drills. As a leading manufacturer
of PCB drills, Union Tool has spawned countless innovations throughout
its history.
The smallest diameter drill is finer than a human hair.
Smaller and more advanced data devices have led to the
need for increasingly complex printed circuit boards, which has spurred
demand for micro diameter PCB drills that are finer than a human hair.
Union Tool just succeeded in mass-producing PCB drills 0.05mm and tries to manufacture the smallest drill that is 0.02mm in diameter. The finest of the drill is invisible to the human naked eye.
A strong emphasis on technology development has helped Union Tool to
keep pace with the rapid changes occurring in the information technology
age. These qualities are proof of Union Tool's dedication to being a
global leader in its pursuit of even greater success.
Rigorous quality control system.
Each PCB drill must pass more than 20 quality checkpoints
before it is ready for shipment. Union Tool employs the latest state-of-the-art
technology to measure and inspect all of its products.
Union Tool only ships products that have passed its stringent inspection
standards. This rigorous quality control system is responsible for Union
Tool's worldwide reputation for unsurpassed quality. In four categories
of product including PCB drills, carbide end mills, linear motion guides,
and measuring instruments, the quality control system in place at Union
Tool has been awarded ISO 9001 certification.
Global Network
Union Tool's history of innovation originates from its
corporate headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. The Tokyo headquarters oversees
the activities of Union Tool's Nagaoka Factory and Mishima Laboratory.

work to further expand the company's market share in Japan.
Outside of Japan, Union Tool owns the California-based U.S. Union Tool, Inc. (former Megatool, Inc.) subsidiary,
which manufactures PCB drills and markets the company's products in the
United States.
Union Tool also operates overseas plants in Taiwan and Shanghai, China,
through its Taiwan Union Tool and Union Tool Shanghai subsidiaries. Union
Tool has also established Dongguan Union Tool Corporation. The new company
was established to meet the growing demand in the Guangdong and Hong
Kong area.
Union Tool is continuing to expand its global sales network in an effort
to increase its worldwide presence. Union Tool serves the European market
through its Swiss-based Union Tool Europe subsidiary.
